Monetary Donations
Karinya House currently receives 52% government funding (48% recurrent). The remaining 48% of total revenue is provided through donations and fundraising. The generous contributions made by Karinya's supporters allow us to continue to help mothers and babies in crisis in the Canberra region.
One of our fundraising goals is to enlist a core of ongoing supporters, who are committed to donating to Karinya House on a regular basis. Project 1000 aims to enlist 1000 supporters to contribute $200 (less than the cost of one cup of coffee per week!) per annum to Karinya. Karinya House is endorsed as a Chairty and Deductible Gift Recipient. All monetary donations greater than $2 are tax deductible.
Donations of new/used baby goods
Karinya House gratefully accepts donations of new and used baby clothes (up to size 1) and baby goods. We are only able to accept second hand goods and clothes that are clean and in good condition.

Please note that due to limited storage space we are no longer able to accept donations of cots, change tables, high chairs walkers and women's shoes.
